Good-bye Cutie Pie

With much sadness, I share with you that Julian's rabbit, Cutie Pie, has died today. We noticed her very lethargic and so Julian wanted to hold her. Then, in adjusting her, she laid her on the floor and noticed she had no control over her legs. Within minutes, and with Julian petting her, she relaxed and her nose stopped wiggling. As you can imagine, Julian is terribly sad so we ask for your prayers as she deals with yet another loss.

Grandpa

After leaving Bradenton, we headed to Arcadia to see Gpa. He and Jean both look great. One of the cats came out and spent a little time with us as well. Buttons, I believe is his name.

Family

Black Friday we drove to Bradenton to see Andrea and her family. The children picked up where they left off too many months ago. Notice the Florida girls are bundled up ~ it was cooler ~ and the Ohio boys are in shorts.

Ho Ho Ho

Go Eagles!!

I don't think I shared this photo with you. We went to Chace and Julian's school for a spaghetti dinner and their mascot came out. It just so happens that Jess's mascot is an eagle also!

The gingerbread house

I always forget and download the pics in the wrong order. Forgive me and bear with me... This year we bought an already put together gingerbread house. Part of the roof was cracked which led one of my children to want to take the roof off. I supplied and little of this and a little of that extra for decorations including some almost empty cans of frosting and what was left of the Halloween candy. They were also given knives but obviously felt inclined to go natural and use their God given hands.

Christmas mugs

We were all laughing because the box matches Chace's pants. Little did he know that what was inside the box matched the shirt he was wearing which was given to him by his sister just a little earlier. Inside the box was a Star Wars outfit for one of his Build a Bears.

Bella thinks this gift is for her but actually they're Julian's frogs.

Some Christmas snapshots.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

And Merry Christmas. Here's our tree after it's skirt was ransacked; we even ruffled the bottom row of limbs trying to extricate gifts from underneath.
