Lion Country Safari
OK, the concept here is you get into your vehicle of choice, look the doors and put up all the windows. Then you drive through the various habitats of the animals. The necessary animals are secluded from other animals; coincidentally the food chain is considered. The children loved this adventure.
Happy Easter
Christ the Lord is risen today!!!! Well, yesterday, and because we're also celebrating Chace's birthday, we're stretching it out as long as we can.
The next field trip the children went on was with the Y. They went to Lion Country Safari. The pictures will be added after work today but on a side note, that trip marked the first time my children rode a school bus and they were almost more excited about that then LCS!!! Funny.

Happy April to ya!

I'm trying to get up earlier. My body is waking me up earlier, so why not use that time wisely, like spending it with you?! This morning I was greeted by a cockroach, so now I know how late they stay up, UGH. Usually I lay in bed and listen to the birds chirping before I finally pull myself up and out. Those birds slept in this morning, I'm just now hearing them. If I stir, I know I'll hear Rainey, she chats with me until I get up.
Today is Wednesday and it's our first no AWANA night of the year, strange. I think I'll take the children to the Y so we can swim, providing Jessica feels better. She's fighting a cold, hopefully she keeps it to herself.
Yesterday we went to the library and didn't stop to visit the fountain, maybe next visit. We did grab the original Return from Witch Mountain because we like sharing our past with our children. I can't honestly say it's 'my' past because I really don't remember seeing the original, William saw it so it's his past.
Julian, Chace and I made candy apples last night while Jessica was at her bible study. That's a first time making for us and they are yummy!! While those pictures upload, I'm going to go get ready for work. OH wait, they're done and look, they came up side by side. Gosh I never know how they're going to look thank goodness the computer is in control.
