Bunny

Jessica always kept it real simple when she named her things. A stuffed bunny is...Bunny, her baby doll was named, you guessed it, "Baby". Then there was Chace who named is blue Betta ---Goldie--- that always cracked me up. Baby is no longer with us, she went through a few siblings and graduated to -- well she's just no longer with us anymore. On the other hand, Bunny is with us and forevermore will be. Bunny goes to camp and any other sleepover for that matter. She will always have a prominent place on Jessica's bed and in her heart. And just recently Jessica came across Bunny's twin, only our bunny has been loved a whole bunch more then the newly found stuffed animal. Jessica received Bunny when she was 3 years old, which makes the stuffed animal 9 now and that's longer than most people keep pets. For instance, Goldie ~ looooooong gone. But irreplaceable Bunny is still with us. Check her out with her new friend.

Public policy

OK, OK, it's my children. My 3 adorable, well behaved (not again) children. And it isn't customary for them to take their clothing off in public, but when a water fountain is acallin', there's no stoppin' the clothing.

On the other hand

This fountain is strategically place for viewing pleasure.

See, isn't it nice? Uuhm, whose children might that be and WHAT are they doing at the fountain that's there for viewing pleasure? It certainly doesn't look like they're viewing.

The wonderful world of waterfountains.

Remember this?

And this?

And this, too?

These are fountains placed strategically throughout Florida (and probably your state as well) and are used for cooling off purposes. That's what they're made for and my children, as with most children, LOVE them and seek them out and know when their travels will cross the path of one of these delightful things.

Out of focus

Or out of practice or something. There are so many typos in the last blog, it's almost unreadable, please forgive me. But speaking of out of focus, I finally got new lenses for my glasses and now enjoy seeing out of glasses that aren't streaked with lines from cheap lenses.

A top 10 lit of sorts

In our absence from blogging, in no particular order, here's what was going on:

1. Hosted 12 boys and 2 college students in our home for Winter Retreat
2. Uncle Mike came to visit
3. he took the children to the Keys and they say Fort Zachary Taylor
4. he repaired things around the house, including our bikes (Yeah Uncle Mike)
5. Rainey, our elderly cat, injured her leg requiring stitches
6. my mom and dad came to visit
7. so we went to the beach
8. and to several parks
9. and saw Pink Panther
10. I recertified in Red Cross training and Jessica was newly certified.

OK, that's the .25 tour so if enough people take the tour we'll be able to cover the cost of the vet bill.

YIKES, has that much time REALLY gone by??

So much for my words of keeping your up to date on the family; 2 complete months have gone by. Let me make it up to you with some pictures...
