Camp Kid Blast was so much fun and now it's done; but we're still on the high!!! What a great week. The children went through so many clothes each day. The ultimate ending was the food fight on Friday. Awesome!! During the week they were numerous times to get slimed and several water games.
Although we were exhausted, we headed to Holmes Beach Saturday morning to see William's sister and family. The kids jumped right in like they had just seen each other yesterday. The weather was gorgeous and the water wonderful. God showed us some of His amazing creations including, a fabulous sunset, jumping devil rays, dolphins and sand dollars. We caught up on some sleep and enjoyed some sightseeing. It was an amazing two days and it was great to see Jean and Todd and Talon and Claudia and Lochlan.
Next week we head to Word of Life camp where all we have to do is get the children safely to camp and home again. Once there, counselors take over and do all the work. This year all three of our children are enrolled in the camp. Julian is a day camper, Chace is in his third year as an over night camper and Jessica is in her fourth and final year as an over night camper. You can see the children in pictures starting about mid week, next week at www.wordoflifecamp.org so check them out.
Wednesday, Daniel flies in, we're all really excited to see him and spend the next month with him.
With that being said, you might not hear from me again until next month. TTFN

As July sifts by...
We've spent the week getting ready for Camp Kid Blast and we're excited and as ready as we can be. And now, with God's grace we'll have another wonderful camp week.
The kids did some noteworthy things this week. Julian wanted to bake a cake yesterday. I'm not sure what provoked the desperate desire but I held her off until today. Once she got into the process she decided it was an early birthday cake for her daddy. His birthday is the 28th and he will turn 40. The older two helped her decorate this cake and it required 40, yes 40, candles. Every shape and every size was used from the cake decorating basket but we were still 2 short. The simple solution was to put 2 tealights on as well. Problem solved.
Now on to Chace...he was invited to a birthday party next weekend and was very excited to go. Then we found out William's sister and family will be in Bradenton on vacation and our schedule only allowed for us to visit next weekend---the same time as the birthday party. He accepted the change in schedule and was determined that he should call his friend, explain and apologize for not being able to attend. I am impressed.
I'll give Jessica this next one only because she was in charge. The children were at the house, daddy and mommy were 4 minutes away at church. On her watch the downstairs toilet overflowed, big time. This of course required almost all of my clean and folded bath towels to soak up the mess. UGH Oh Well, they did clean up the mess so I won't complain, too much.
Alright, so next week will be all day camp, all day fun, all day messy slime games and all night SLEEP. Pray for us.

The weekend is here.
How was your Fourth of July? Though it rained and tried to ruin our festivities, God always protected us from the onslaught of downpours and lightening. The church had it's annual Fourth picnic after the town parade. William got to perform Kid Blast 2 times to help promote Camp Kid Blast. All three children danced on stage during the performance. Then they ran off to play on the many bounce houses and rock wall and gorge on cotton candy and snow cones. Chic-fil-la was there to fill our bellies and there were hot dogs too. After the last performance we went home and chilled for a couple of hours. Then we went to the Lieber's house to grill hamburgers and enjoy our fireworks. The neighborhood was crackling with fireworks so the entertainment went on for a long time. I was pleased to come home to no firework noises. Along the way we acquired two of Chace's friends that will spend the weekend with us.
William is outside mowing the grass with his new lawnmower in too tall grass. Once he tames the wilderness, I'm certain the children will be in line for their turn to use the new toy. I saw Julian helping early on but the grass was taller then her, I think.
Tomorrow will bring on a new week with a somewhat normal schedule. The only difference will be preparing for Camp Kid Blast whose inauguration is July 14. This is William's new baby for the summer; the kids get to participate and I get to run the kitchen.
OK this accomplishes my quest to better update my blog for you. Let's see how long I can keep my goal running.

AND AGAIN
I haven't been on here in so long I can't remember how to correctly use this thing. Please bear with me... Good grief. Or maybe it's that the house is empty and I should be doing uninterrupted housework; regardless, I'm still going to update the blog.
The new job started off really well and I am enjoying myself. Today I finished one entry and had a big discrepancy and after much searching, couldn't find the error. I decided to move onto something else just to get away from that batch. Once I finished the next batch I went back to the first batch and was able to find my error. YEAH. All with out my trainer in the office today.
It's seems different sitting in my office being able to hear my husband's voice. It shouldn't as we've always worked together before. Maybe it was that he was discussing my birthday on the phone with someone, a mysterious someone.
The last posting got dumped before I could post it all so I'm concerned about typing too long of a message and losing it all again.
Tomorrow the church is sponsoring a picnic after the town parade. William will be performing Kid Blast, our Sunday morning kids program, for the event in front of lots of people. Pray that the word on Camp Kid Blast will get out during this time. We have some spaces to fill and our hearts desire is to reach more unchurched children.
The children are enjoying some summer time before the next camp starts up. After Camp Kid Blast, Daniel (our first exchange student) is coming to visit for a month. The last week in July is Word of Life Camp for the whole family. Sometime in there William's sister and her family will be in Florida so we'll get to see them.
I'll close for now......
