Bubbling over

The first picture shows one of the best features of our hotel.
The second and third pictures show Chace receiving his trophy at the completion of his first baseball season. The head coach was fabulous, as evidenced by the way he spoke TO Chace when he gave him his award.

Disney Vacation

I highly suggested the children wear matching shirts each day at the parks. It made keeping up with them SO much easier.

June...it's JUNE already!!

Slow down or hold on; not sure which to advise my children with. Maybe both!!

OK, let me not get ahead of myself. First and foremost, Jessica's teeth are fixed and good as new. She looks great and we're thrilled.
Now let's talk about vacation. Wonderful can sum it all up but I won't leave you with just that. After the beginning of the church's groundbreaking ceremony we left town. We headed straight to Orlando and never looked back. Monday we took the children to Magic Kingdom, Tuesday we took the children to Animal Kingdom and Wednesday we took the children to Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM Studios). And then Thursday we breathed!!! The children did great and rode every single roller coaster at least once, it was fabulous. The weather was overcast--so not too hot. It did rain some sprinkles but we endured. We never once smelled smoke from the wild fires.
Thursday we checked into the FPEA homeschool convention and worked the exhibit hall locating each spot we wanted to shop at the next day. Friday we each went to 2 seminars and then went back to our hotel.
Saturday we stayed in jammies most of the day; it was wonderful. We did head to the pool but got rained out of there so headed back to our jammies.
Sunday we drove home and went back to work well rested.
Tuesday the children went to the beach with friends; rip currents and all. The waves were pretty great for them. They'll probably go back his Tuesday too.
Wednesday is my last day with students so we're having a police presentation with a K-9 and motorcycles and the helicopter as well. My kids want to join in on that so they'll come to work with me. Once we leave there we're heading for the local water park.
Next Sunday the children and I head north to help at Student Camp. We'll be entertaining the leader's children during the day and will return home Friday. Saturday I fly to mom and dad's as mom is having a pacemaker put in June . Please pray for her for the surgery and the recovery. All siblings will be involved with the care of my father and mother.
I won't wear you out with the next agenda, just know that the summer is plenty packed. We haven't downloaded the vacation pictures but when we do, I'll add them.
