Go Orioles!!

A Long week:

Our first full week in March and we're off to a busy start. Monday Chace had baseball practice. Tuesday Julian went to her first ever gymnastics class. She has been begging to do gymnastics and we found an opportunity that fit into our schedule that was also worth our while. She loved it and was ready for more.
Wednesday at AWANA was hero night. I wore a Superman cap and Julian wore cat ears to portray Cat Woman. Chace was set to be a Storm Trooper and then chickened out of his costume. Prior to leaving for church I cut Julian's hair giving her bangs.
Thursday afternoon Jessica had voice class and the younger two a play date. That evening we drove to a local homeless shelter to deliver food that was collected and brought in by the children of the church.
Friday we had the Jones' over for dinner and sat and chatted and yawned until almost midnight. The children were content playing and we were occupied so time got away from us. No harm because we were able to sleep in Saturday.
Chace's game (second of the season) was at 4 leaving me plenty of time to get housework done and get in a game of Scrabble with the girls. His game this week was easier to watch. Not only did we win but they played better too. Chace made a hit and ran all the way to third base and ended up scoring a run. Then he came out as the pitcher and though it isn't a strength he did quite well. He even struck one boy out and proceeded to dance a jig on the mound while grinning ear to ear. The boys have a long way to go but they are doing great and having fun.
AWANA is winding down for the year with only two more nights and then closing ceremony.
Good Friday we drive to Hudson, FL and Word of Life camp to watch a live Passion Play. The next day is our anniversary and then, of course, Easter. Spring break starts Friday the 28th. I foresee March being over in a blink and hope that I have to chance to share some of our memories with you along the way.
In the meantime, we'll enjoy another cool, cool evening and move our clocks ahead an hour thus losing precious needed sleep.
God Bless
